What is ORANGE?
Orange is a belief that churches are not the primary teacher of children. Parents are. This church, however, is willing to partner with parents to nurture our children and present the Gospel to them. Just as red and yellow come together to make orange, so the Church and parents come together to teach and train our children.
PRESCHOOL MINISTRY…
At God’s Garden, we help little ones learn about God’s love at the very start of their faith journey! Created for children from birth through age four, God’s Garden is where seeds of faith are planted in each child. We offer classroom activities, curriculum, conversations, and prayers that will nurture this special time of foundational growth in your child. We use every opportunity to instill three truths in little ones:
- God made you and everything around you
- Jesus loves you and wants to be your friend forever
- Jesus wants you to love others
We do more than just baby-sit these children because we know this is a special time of physical, social, and spiritual development in their lives. We want to nurture every aspect of their growth to help them learn about Jesus and His special plan for their lives!
ELEMENTARY-AGE MINISTRY…
Our ministry for Kindergarten through fifth graders presents fun, innovative ways to instill essential truths from God’s Word, foster healthy fellowship between peers, and build prayer and Bible study habits that will last a lifetime. Through every activity and interaction, we build from three core values based on Luke 2:52: “And Jesus increased in wisdom and in stature and in favor with God and man.” They are:
- I can make wise choices (Jesus increased in wisdom)
- I can treat others as they want to be treated (Jesus increased in stature and favor with man)
- I can trust God no matter what (Jesus increased in stature and favor with God)
Our committed teachers and dedicated volunteers are privileged to partner with parents to nurture a growing relationship with Jesus in their child!
